Did You Know...

Who invented the first automobile?

Karl Benz (yes, of Mercedes Benz fame).  His wife, Bertha (Ritter), was reportedly, unshakably optimistic and possessed a keen ability to analyze difficult situations with great accuracy.  She managed to find a way out of a severe financial dilemma facing her young inventor/designer husband during the early development of the automobile and helped him promote it.  She was, ostensibly, the auto industry’s first “marketing director”.

Guess it’s in the genes.

Jackie PetersonI love helping facilitate the transfer of goods and services from market to customer.  Simply put, that is  Marketing.

But, it’s more than that, more than just putting together a slick set of graphics, words or other forms of staging set to music.  Good marketing sells a product or service.  Great marketing tells a story, sets a tone, informs, illustrates, creates a real expectation, and delivers on that promise with authenticity and integrity.

Nothing less….not for you and not by me.
I’ve had the pleasure of working with a wonderful variety of clients in Montana, Idaho, Oregon, Washington and Alaska who have challenged me to develop campaigns that have been implemented locally, regionally and nationally.

That package of experiences, skills and talents is available to work for you too.  Just ask.

In my spare time I enjoy much that the Pacific Northwest provides including camping, hiking, fly fishing and bicycling.  When it’s raining too hard outside, you can find me behind the stove with a new recipe or in front of the fire with a project.  Late at night, I play “tomb raider” as the keeper of my family’s genealogy and have traced my various branches from Western Montana and the heartland of the Dakotas & Minnesota back to 1540 in Alsace and 1720 in Sweden.  While more a descendant of kings and queens of the earth (tailors, vintners, shoemakers and farmers), I am distantly related to the Benz family of Mercedes Benz fame and to the individual who was Edsel Ford’s executive assistant for 50 years and the executor of his estate when he passed away.  Today, I drive a hybrid.
